About Me image
I am a senior at Butler University studying Strategic Communication and Health Communication with a focus on Public Relations. Through my studies, I have developed strong writing, presenting, project management and leadership skills required in the field of public relations. For this reason, I compiled a collection of examples showcasing my projects and accomplishments.

Apart from my work in class, I am currently a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) intern for Eskenazi Health where I assist the Human Resources Business Partner in a variety of recruitment and workplace initiatives. My two major projects include designing a social media campaign to recruit behavioral health clinicians for the Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center and organizing a rewards and recognitions program.

I also take pride in my role as a student leader. During my college career, I've been involved in three major campus groups: Asian & Pacific Islander Alliance (APIA), Interfaith Council, and Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). I co-founded and spent two years as president for APIA, a student cultural club that promotes Asian and Pacific Islander cultures through educational community events. One of my favorite aspects of the club was connecting with students of similar backgrounds through our semester programming. I also spent time with students of differing backgrounds at biweekly Interfaith Council meetings, where a group of 15 students discussed our faith backgrounds and fostered unity through community outreach events. Apart from cultural and social clubs, I continue my professional development as a member of Butler University's chapter of PRSSA.

I previously worked as an Events Intern for The Startup Ladies, a subscription service that connects startup founders to professional, educational and financial development opportunities. The organization is especially interested in empowering female founders and welcomes all genders. As the Events intern, I organized, published, promoted and assisted running virtual events for members. This role further developed my interpersonal communication and project management skills.

Last spring, I worked as a Communications intern for Women4Change, a nonpartisan organization dedicated to advocating for and educating Hoosier women about policies that impact them. As part of my role, I developed content for the Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts. I also managed the Instagram for The Clothesline Indiana/El Tendedero, a Women4Change project created to raise awareness about sexual assault and harassment in the state of Indiana. Apart from social media, I wrote blog posts for the Women4Change website to help members navigate the Spring 2021 Legislative Session.

As I transition into my career, I am confident that my passion for community and strong promotional skills will translate well to a workplace environment.
